Farm Hand

The Falls Farm, an award-winning farm near Mapleton Falls National Park on the Sunshine Coast, is renowned for its commitment to regenerative farming practices. We grow a diverse range of seasonal produce, including heirloom vegetables, specialty greens, root crops, herbs, and edible flowers, all cultivated with a focus on soil health, biodiversity, and sustainable farming methods.

Role Overview
Farm Hands will collaborate with a small team to maintain the farm's daily operations and ensure the successful cultivation of various crops. This role reports directly to the Farm Manager and Head Gardener.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help execute the growing cycle in collaboration with the Farm Manager and Head Gardener.

  • Aid in the preparation, planting, maintenance and harvesting for a wide variety of crops

  • Ensure produce meets high-quality standards for market sale, reflecting the farm's award-winning reputation.

Work is physically demanding and outdoors in all conditions. We work at a consistent, productive pace, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail across all tasks.

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need previous farming experience, but you do need to show up with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. We’re looking for someone who:

  • Maintains steady, focused work across full days

  • Works well in a small team and takes direction

  • Communicates clearly

  • Values quality, consistency, and reliability

  • Enjoys contributing to a positive, community-minded work environment

If you have relevant experience in farming, horticulture or physical outdoor work, that’s an advantage - but not essential.

Position Details

Award wage, commensurate with relevant experience.
Rental Accommodation available, shared.
Full-time role from June onwards
Located at The Falls Farm, Mapleton, QLD.
